PLEASE ADVISE!

I know it's not what you want to hear, but you need a retake. QR, Bio, and PAT are below cutoffs of many schools and none of your scores really stand out.

How'd you study?

I took a Kaplan DAT class (which comes with online access to about a million practice tests) did all the practice tests, section tests, read/studied the entire Kaplan book.

Feeling really down about my scores considering how much time and money I have invested this summer.

Should I even bother applying this cycle?

If you got moey to burn then apply

In all honesty unless your planning on going to a state school, are well connected or your dad is a dentist/past alumni, and he just donated 10k+ to the university I would say you have almost 0% chance.

I know it's not fun, but if you really want to get in and don't want to waste more money definitely retake the test. I would stick to study strategies suggested on this site. SDN has great study tips and goes over some of the more effective study materials. I personally found KAPLAN to be waste as well. Very easy practice for PAT (which is way harder on the actual test) and not much info for chemistry. DAT destroyer is a great practice tool for o-chem and g-chem. I used crack PAT which was really helpful.

If your definitely serious about d-school don't get super bummed. I know from personal experience that it took me 2 tries to take the DAT. First time was a wake up call so I tried harder. If you follow a stricter regimen you can definitely get the scores you need.

Definitely a retake. You're barely making cutoffs and haven't made it in a couple sections and your GPA isn't particularly high. Retake the test with more prep.

As of now, your chances are very very low.
