DAT scores and advice

Hey guys! So i took my DAT in september and here are my scores

Bio:19
Gchem: 21
Ochem:23
PAT:19
RC:18
QR:14 <--- yeah i know

I just used all the kaplan materials and didn't have enough time to go through the destroyer or any other materials. I am planning on retaking the DATs around march, and will be hoping to review most of the my material and work on the destroyer and CDP.

Can you guys give me additional advice on how to increase my scores? Also what can help me with math b/c I haven't taken math since high school. Also because I am taking the DATs in march, how do you think the use of the calculator will effect test taking?

Sorry to hear about the low score in math.......and even more sorry to hear that you did that well without even finishing the destroyer I bet if you did ur scores would've been off the charts and u wudn need a re-take but regardless a 14 in math won't cut it ....trust me i know cuz im re-taken cuz of math myself.........i bought the new math destroyer and from wat i've heard and used myself i think its very useful with questions that are tough and its filled with shortcuts tips and tricks so def. get it and finish up strong with destroyer and pray for the both of us ! haha best of luck

The key is just PRACTICE. Since u already did it and pretty much know what to expect, get your hands on as much practice material as possible. U might want to spend some time on Math (work on speed)

hey u guys... u dont need to retkae the DAT, i know people who got a 14 and got interviews and even got accepted ..... 14 in math

i second getting the new math destroyer book. It definitely had all the types of problems that showed up on the test.
