DAT Scores! Should I retake? Does cancelling a retake look bad?

Took my DAT in May during finals week:

AA:19
Biology: 17
G Chem: 17
O Chem: 17
Total Science: 17
RC: 24
QR: 19
PAT: 16

Science GPA: 3.33
Total GPA: 3.43

I'm also a management major. I'm freaking out a little because I'm not sure how competitive my scores would be. I've been studying over the summer, but I'm worried about retaking it so I was thinking of cancelling my test.

I'm currently applying to:
NYU, BU, Tufts, Temple, NOVA, Loma Linda, Oregon, UIC.
Since I'm a Texas resident, I also applied to: UTSA, University of Texas- Houston, Baylor.

ADVICE WOULD BE GREAT!

I think you should study the sciences hard and retake it soon...
17s across on the sciences isn't a good sign especially for a non-science major. just my two cents

IMO your AA is OK, not great but also not terrible. The 17s on the sciences are gonna sting a little bit and the PAT score may or may not matter depending on the school. I would suggest continuing with the retake because TS is important to practically all schools. Great job on the RC, you nailed it! Good luck with studying, I'm sure with extra preparation you will do much better on your next test.

You should not be so hard on yourself. You need to call Howard, Nova, Midwestern, Southern Illinois, Mercy and a few other schools before you decide NOT to go forward with applying. Your AA being a 19 is good enough, if you believe it or not!! I know of students who got in to the aforementioned schools with scores worse than that. Remember, you are competing with some of the same folks you're getting your advice from. I did worse than that. I'm not giving up!! After studying all this crap, someone is going to have to tell me no........more than once. 🙂
