I'm a sophomore planning to take the DAT next year. I know that schools prefer 20+ scores in all sections.

May be a dumb question but what's really the difference between a 20 vs a 22 vs a 23?

What I want to know is, is there a certain # of questions one gets wrong to that will put them below the 20 mark? Is the difference between a low 20 score and a mid 20s score a few incorrectly answered questions?

Just want to wrap my head around the DAT generally speaking.

Getting a 20 in a section varies because each one has a different number of questions. Look up the 2007 exam and it's grading scale to get an idea of how many correct answers you need.
