When during this cycle will adcoms know about acceptances and waitlists of their interviewers.

Are you asking when to hear back about an interview? It can really depend on the school, but it's a rolling process. Some schools get back to applicants within a week, but others can take a month or more. If you're interested in a specific school, you can look at their school-specific thread for answers, or call the admissions department.

If you're asking when people get accepted from a waitlist, it's also rolling. It tends to pick up in mid-May, when applicants have to commit to just one school, and therefore turn down other acceptances and waitlist spots.

We've been able to see where accepted candidates are holding other acceptances since February 10th.
I believe that acceptances held by the waitlist will be visible March 15th this year.

Schools never see where you have been waitlisted or rejected.

Just wondering: Do you regularly use this information and if so, how?

I guess one situation might be to look at the schools someone writing a LOI got into.

If everyone we have accepted has been accepted to Harvard, it would be time to expand the number of acceptances.
If ours is the only acceptance for twice the number needed to fill the class, it's time to quit accepting people.

To answer your question, it usually just confirms the algorithm and no action is needed.
