Hey everyone.

So I've been through 4 tests already, tho I've taken each test with minimal knowledge (or self-reliance of previous exposure from old bio-classes) and been scoring 24/25 out of 40 on average. HOWEVER, this is after going over just the 1st two chapters of Cliffs (basically Cells and Photosynthesis. I would read all my mistakes, retake the quiz after, then retake again the day after. I would nail 40's easily and keep the information fresh.

I started seriously reading Cliff's 4 days ago and only have 2 more Chapters left (hoping to be done by tonight). I attribute the slow process due to me highlighting EVERY key word and writing in the margins important things that stick out to me. I'm going to reread Cliff's again and it should be faster since I'm a quick learner.

However, I started the habit of reading 1 chapter, going to DATQVault and answering the practice problems (not the tests) and writing any information not covered in Cliffs. This brings me to my questions:

Should I be using DATQVault tests as a studyguide, or should it be more for actual assessment? I won't start another practice test fearing I'm ruining an opportunity to really assess where I'm at, but at the same time I'm benefiting by memorizing important details and definitions as well as recognizing my weakness. You know that feel?
