Can a 21 AA, 21 BIO, 22 GC, 23 OC, 18 RC, 19 QR, 20 PAT can offset a 3.02 gpa and a 3.1 science GPA? I have tons of ECs, volunteer work and working as a dental lab tech as a trainee. I would like to know what is likelihood of me getting an acceptance to the following schools

AT Still-AZ
BU GDSM
IU
Marquette
Detroit Mercy
Midwestern-IL
Western-CA
USC
Lincoln Memorial
Temple
Tufts
Columbia
Maryland
NOVA southeastern
KCU CDM
Cali Northstate

What did you take during your postbac? How many course hours?
Have you attended any information sessions at VCU or Howard? Why is Howard not on your list? Have you connected with SNDA members? How do you self-identify as a minority?

You will need to acquire at least two recommendations from science professors.

21 is around the average score of admitted students. An average score isn’t going to offset a below average GPA. If you were asking if a 25+ would offset a low GPA, it would be a different conversation.

Big Hoss

I have done a post bacc for 1 year and have a 3.8 gpa and that started in 2019-2020 by taking additional hard level science courses such a biology, chemistry, orgo chem and physics.

based on their recruitment of underrepresented minorities and I feel with my DAT and gpa, I am a best fit for them.
your post bacc was in 2019, i am assuming your other credits are even older
have you checked with these schools if your prereqs and other credits are still considered current?
when did you take your dat?

Detroit Mercy says if its 2018 or beyond is acceptable and it is a 7 year duration. I worked hard after undergrad to take some post bacc classes to boost my gpa to a 3.0. I took my DAT last month

what did the other schools say?

You're repeating yourself over multiple threads. I'll ask the mods to combine if possible. It is difficult to advise across multiple threads and repeated questions.

There was a computer error on my laptop its actually a 20 AA instead of 21 AA

I do not know very much how to use this platform of avoid repetitive threads.

Are your listed GPAs from your transcript(s) or calculated in sync with the AADSAS course categories and GPA policy? If the former, you should consider generating all relevant AADSAS GPAs prior to applying.

Yes to what? The distinction especially matters in your case given how close each of your GPAs are to a 3.0 with your post-bacc included. You may need to explore other options - including (but likely not limited to) revising your school list - prior to applying but it is difficult for both MrSmile and macsak to make suggestions provided you are not answering their questions directly or at all.

I applied in the past and that's the gpas i had from the past cycle. the only thing that changed is my DAT scores.

what schools did you apply to?
what were the results of the interviews (rejection/waitlist)?
did you ask the schools when the cycle ended why you were not accepted or what you can improve?

retaken my DAT

waiting for a job as a dental lab tech
schools are not going to look favorably on you doing nothing in terms of classes/volunteering/shadowing over the last almost 3 years

in addition, you didn't answer the question, "what did the schools other than detroit mercy say about your prereqs and other credits being so old?"

that's good

what were your scores in your first DAT attempt?

I have volunteered at foodbanks and I have one coming up next Tuesday which will add up to 250 hours. I am about to work as a dental lab tech after shadowing my dentist. Indiana did not specify about prerequisite age as you look into this link here: Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) for BU: Requirements | Dental School for Tufts: DMD Program Application | School of Dental Medicine for VCU: Admission requirements - Dentistry - Virginia Commonwealth University

What feedback did you get regarding your interview skills from BeMo? How many hours have you used, or have you started?

If you're still on the waitlist, we'll just see how things go with BU and UDM. Maybe this will be a moot point.

Did you ever connect with SNDA officers at the schools? What advice have they given you?

OP was on the waitlist 2 cycles ago...

So did OP apply last cycle and got nothing? If so, OP should fill out the Spring 2025 Applicant Experience Survey, but in this thread, the timeline needs to be clear. Don't make me assume anything, or I'm going to assume incorrectly. Maybe that's the issue with interviewing skills.
