Day in the life

Can someone make a "day in the life" type thread describing a typical day, what you do, work hours, job satisfaction, and most importantly, what made you decide to go into P/CCM ?

Or it can just be this thread. Lol. Respond here if you'd like and someone can sticky it

513am - 6 year old wakes me up for one of 3 things, he's hungry thirsty or wants ipad
515 - try go back asleep
528 - AM page for "critical ABG" results
549 - poop/shower/brush teeth
605 - put on cloths, make cup of coffee #1 and breakfast
610 - make kids lunch
622 - leave for work
653 - walk into office
655 - submit yesterday's billing
658 - turn on computer
703 - computer rounds start all EMR notes
715 - finish coffee
718 - stop in pulm lab, read pfts
720 - walk into ICU, see icu PTs, finish icu notes
8-945 - depends on hospital load and scheduled procedures either nothing or finish hospital or bronch
9-10 clinic starts
12-1 lunch break catch up on notes
1-430 - finish clinic, recommend cardiac workup for non-pulmonary dyspnea
456 - head home or see decompensating hosp pt or clinic PTs which were admitted
610 - walk into house
645 - bed

You go to bed at 6:45 and you don't eat dinner? Thanks for the response btw. But, what made you want to to into your field?
