I was simply talking about the conversion you mentioned happening after FS. It did not make sense for it to be me. That is what I meant by not acknowledging the lynch of actual last night, not investigation results of WW last night. Sorry mods, wanted to respond to this since SDN keeps taking away my air time. :bear:

All I know is the investigation results said Lupin is Star Sapphire
And Lupin sounds like me when I am a wolf, but there is a lot of information that could possibly exonerate me even though I am a wolf. It is frustrating that everyone ignores the info, even though it is misleading. Sorry Lupin, your pleas sound awfully familiar.

I see no reason to disbelieve the investigation.

Day 10 Results:

Jimmy Olsen here. Today's news is brought to you by popcorn and the letter 'N'. There was a freakish storm this afternoon, which caused all computers to not work for a period of time. Sorry for those of you expecting the 5 o'clock news at 5 o'clock. Anyways, our gregarious horde of heroes was seen walking around in City Park this afternoon, carrying big clubs to swing and destroy anything purple. They supposedly were looking for a Star Sapphire, but I think they just really hate teenage girls' purple phone cases. 5 iphones later, a member of the group looks up into a tree. He sees a gleam of violet light, and quickly sidesteps the ray of purple matter which would have turned him immediately to dust. The hero calls to his posse, "Come quick. She's in the trees." The posse quickly runs towards the trees. The violet rays begin furiously raining down, but somehow everyone is able to avoid them. Eventually, the person in the trees is fatigued, and the group hears a frustrated scream. Lupin jumps down from the trees, and calmly walks towards a woman in the group. "Please, make it a quick, honorable death." The heroine grabs a long knife, and slits Lupin's throat effortlessly.

I don't know how I feel about this one. She probably didn't count for villager numbers but I'm guessing was a real nuisance for the wolves.
 
Yeah... I am assuming she may have become neutral/chaos/in game for herself.... I do want to say though... this does not in any way clear SOV in my mind for possibly being converted.... A wolf could have easily received that item and investigated her to figure that out and revealed that... and so could have a villager... so just something to keep in mind.

I don't really trust anyone. But there comes a point where you have to just decide to trust someone even if you aren't sure. Otherwise the villagers just can't accomplish anything together. I don't really have any way to test whether anybody is a wolf so I'm just choosing to trust DVMD.
 
btw, I'm on fall break so expect results to be later than the usual 6 or 6:30 am. 😎

No. Unless there is an announcement made about a player returning to the game, assume it's a formatting issue. It's not as easy to copy the formatting every time now that it's not html and is more 'hope my computer catches it' so more times than not we wind up having to put in the strikethroughs ourselves with each updated list.

Hmmm. This is making me have second thoughts about ever modding again. I don't need more things that are easy to screw up.

Aw, but I love your games! There's probably a trick to it--we just got the luck of modding the first game in New SDN.

That is what I have been doing. Kind of annoying though to have to go back and grab it, and edit into the current write-up. I think that is the easiest way though.

With so many dead, most of those left are legacies...and villains. With last night, one of those remaining legacies has fallen. It's not quite a two-nights-for-one-hero deal, but the hero with her life extinguished by black light last night is Lissarae. Vivian D'Aramis, Constance's sister who shared the blocking power of the Crimson Fox, is dead.

So just a slightly OT question I've been wondering - how exactly do chaos characters work in most games? Do they have a specified side that they fight for, or are they just there to screw things up/try to win themselves?

varies, but the generally have their own independent win condition or otherwise they'd just be a villager or wolf...

I don't think she is either, based on what she knows about me. I would have been offed a while back.

Anyways, on that note, I have some goodies or two for the group. There are as of last night two wolves. As of Night 6 (pretty sure it was 6, but will have to double check) there were three. Looks like the wolves have some mad converting ability. Since we're entering the endgame phase, I have a feeling I can help a little bit more with what I can do. I'm limited in how many times I can look, and will be passing the info on directly to DVMD (sorry wolves, it won't die with me). As much as I absolutely hate role revealing and I've been purposefully mum on it given my rather famous name, at this point I think it may be necessary. I'm Batman. My ability isn't as badass as I would have liked, but there it is.

I had the lasso last night again. Lost it finally. Anyway I tried to lasso hedgie but "failed". Could be random fail chance. Could be something else.

Christ. 8 wolves and 2 whatevers in a 25 person game??? A villager😳ther ratio of 1.5:1???? I've never heard of something that skewed against villagers. Wow.

If you do the math, which I've been messing around with, it could work out to most likely 5 originals, 2 converts over the course of 10 days, and 1 resurrection (assuming dyachei - the villagers got a rez so I assume the wolves got one too, although the alignment of the rezzed player may be randomized) or 4 originals, 3 converts, or one resurrection. I'd imagine the former more likely because 3 converts over 10 days seems a little extreme. So technically fairish, although bloody annoying.

Lynch hedgie for the possible block and because honestly, Superman (that's who she said she was, right?) would be a great conversion target.

I have no idea why the lasso would have failed last night. All I did last night was protect SnS and use the magic wand to move myself to Gotham. lynch SOV

If you did then the mods gave it to both of us. I received it the same night I was blocked which was two nights ago meaning I had it for last night.
 
I wonder if there are 2 magic wands then, because I had it a couple nights ago and used it to move LIS.

I'm on my way home, but I'll read through better and explain some of my suspicions when I get home.

I don't know.. I thought hedgie lynch was kind of lame, but had nothing better.

Hey FFM, I do this all the time... put the person being voted for (hedgie) as the one lynching (WTF).
