Yeah, I don't know why it's so hard. I don't understand how some mods love waffles. They sure are a pain to track. (But waffle away if you want to, I am joking) :vulcan: :phantom:
 
Lynch SOV

Gut feeling I have here, especially with the drop of info then a quick turn around and a lynch vote onto someone that we were told was still confirmed to be a villager not too long ago.

And FFM, I probably won't waffle... so enjoy! 🙂

SOV, I don't understand why you would jump to lynching Dwin. Dwin was essentially "cleared" yesterday by Lupin. If he had been a wolf, I'm sure Lupin would have said so in order to save her own skin.

You and DVMD both have said this, but I don't understand this. How was Dwin cleared by Lupin? ANd why would we believe anything Lupin said? I must be missing the point.

I picked Dwin because I didn't want to lynch you, I never got the wolf vibe from LIS, and I felt like it was weird how quickly hedge was being lynched on what even I felt was really weak, barely circumstantial evidence. I really just think the items only work 100% for the original owners, and it was just RNG that it failed on hedgie. It was worth a random vote, but I wasn't meaning for a quick bandwagon so thought something might be up...
 
My reasoning was that if Dwin was actually a wolf, Lupin would have immediately come forward with that information to avoid lynch. If she was lying and couldn't test this in any way, why did this test evidently drain Dwin of his last protection? That's the circle I keept getting stuck in. I suppose we could have the scenario that Lupin was lying about being able to test people and Dwin lied about a test happening to him that drained him of protection? I feel like I need to diagram this crap for myself sometimes....

Whenever you have direct evidence from the mod... even if it is circumstantial, you push it. It is odd for you to post evidence, especially something you got from the mods and then to suddenly back away from it. It is even more odd for you to back away from it on your own, you will sometimes with pressure and if someone else has a good reason to not lynch the player. But none of that happened, you just dropped evidence, then decided to back away from said evidence. Then decided to vote for someone who was recently cleared.... I really doubt that both Lupin/Dwin would be lying about what happened and I even more so doubt it because Lupin is dead and we know that she was not a wolf.

My gut says that lynching you is right, I am sticking to it.

As usual, when it comes to me, your gut is wrong (or at least that is the way it feels to me).
I thought my post made it clear it was a speculative and unlikely scenario but the only info I had. Perhaps it was too terse. Whatever.
I stand by my thought that it was a quick bandwagon on not very concrete evidence. Hell, there was less rush to lynch Lupin on an actual investigation.

Anyway, don't want to argue all day about it.

My role has been entirely wasted anyway. If I get moved, I get to friend someone. I have since learned that if I friend someone from another group, I can PM them, but if I friend someone from the same group I find out something useful.... Unfortunately, although I have begged to be moved, it has not happened much, and I only learned the group/non-group thing after the last move.

I gotta assume there are no originals left. Just conversions.
My best guess is 2 wolves out of these 5 (Swings, WTF, LIS, Hedgie SnS).

I am less inclined to LIS as he is a grumpy conversion. Who wants to deal with that?

I somehow believe WTF is still good, but not sure.

Leaves Swings, SnS and Hedgie as my best guesses.

Maybe I should go back to hedgie, but I am just not convinced. Also, if she is a villager, it would be pretty bad to lose a protector role.

So Swings or SnS.
I don't know much about either.
Anybody care to weigh in.

I say we don't lynch the player that indicated on the thread that she can track. I also say that we don't lynch the protector...

I say we be sure to get investigations of these two players... so no I don't think lynching hedgie or SnS are good ideas at this point, I think we need to get investigations on them first.

I also know that swings was breathing down dyachei's back for quite some time, so I am still inclined to trust her.

My gut is saying you SOV.... it makes the most sense to me out of everyone left and how everyone has been playing.
 
To add to that, my gut even more so says you now, because you jumped straight to lynching SnS who hasn't been around or active for the last few days.....

And knowing that she hasn't been around or even posting means that she probably won't get on to defend herself which makes her a perfect target for a wolf to toss out as a lynch idea.

And by "straight to SnS" that was after you had narrowed down your "list"... you chose the least active of the players on it.
 
Man I've re read through the thread a bit and I can't point out specific players. Obviously my last suspicion of lissa was incorrect and now I'm doubting my suspicions. I've been somewhat suspicious of SOV but nothing solid.. he just seems off of his regular game play.. but I can't pinpoint it.

2 wolves is a lot left… and if we still have a protector and a tracker.. why haven't the wolves killed them yet? That's who I would kill first *shrug* I don't really trust anyone at this point

Jimmy Olsen here, with your 5 o'clock news update, brought to you caffeine. The last few days have been very horrible for the heroes of Earth-1. Each day, heroes are dying with no arrests. It seems like our heroes are misguidedly turning upon their own. We take you now to Gotham City, where our group (can't very well call them a horde anymore) of heroes has captured SOV, and confined him in a wheelchair. Surely, this man whose brain been processing information for over a century (111 years in fact, as of last week), has seen every wolf trick in the book. He would have no trouble pulling the wool over our eyes, masterminding the death and destruction of our beloved heroes. An octagenarian with a cane shuffles to SOV and pulls out a whip. With little effort, but lots of bone-creaking, the whip is cracked, wrapping itself around SOV and strangling him to death.

Last night was in many ways a night of failure. A green arrow was shot, and landed nowhere near its target. A figure was seen bashing in SOV's already-dead ribs--who could want to be so mean to the innocent Tamaranian? They must have some frustrations they need to get out. And the villains appear to have failed as well: no one has died.

Lynch deadline is 5pm Central unless FFM says otherwise. Please check your groups as there was movement last night.

SnS was protected last night. I never get confirmation if it's needed/effective.
 
I am here (for now!) Sorry I haven't posted at all the past few days. On placement in the middle of nowhere, and we haven't had internet. Have tried texting a bit to stay involved, but only just caught up on reading the thread.. We weren't warned about the ****e connection...so I thought I could still play. I'm trying!

I followed hedgie last night, and she was indeed protecting me, but all was quiet.
 
Yeah they tried to kill me. I escaped again, though pretty sure that doesn't last forever (I assumed it wouldn't last after lupin tried to trap me based on the PM). Investigated hedgie with Lasso, results were odd, "Your lasso didn't grab a hero, just some random guy. You let the man go without any questioning." Not sure what to make of it, but suspicious enough for me to say lynch hedgie for now, unless something better comes to light.
 
Here is the attempt on my life by the way, in case anyone can get any clues from it:

"A dark, imposing figure raises his arm towards you, already glowing with black light. Tired as you are, you start running. You avoid your would-be assailant, but you're already panting when you get out the room."
 
Black light makes me think Black Lantern Corps group. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Lantern_Corps

There is a heavy re-amination theme going on with many dead heroes being revived as evil counterparts.

Based on that, does swings have any recent hard-core vouches? She's been the only reanimated one besides dyachei, correct? Green Arrow's re-animation was a member of the BLC according to Wikipedia. Maybe the arrow we've been throwing around could potentially have a deleterious effect based on who we use it on.
 
I like to think swings is still good, but that's because I'm the one that revived her with the arrow. But I have nothing except her word that she came back as a villager, just not as Green Arrow.
 
I'd feel kinda bad if she came back all evil and I'm the only one who's managed to successfully use the damn arrow.
