DEA number

Here in California we have a drug database system CURES. It shows the prescribing physicians' identity by DEA number only. I'd like to find out the name of physicians to correlate with patient's report.

Where can I look up a DEA # and find the corresponding physician's name?

No idea but the system yhere is ridiculous and does not help prevent substance abuse/diversion if you cannot contact other prescribers...

My CURES reports almost always give me a name. There was one problematic pharmacy in the past where the names were not entered, but otherwise I see everybody. Is this a recent problem?
