Maybe I'm an idiot, but I can't find this information anywhere...

Does anyone know when deadlines tend to be for officially accepting an acceptance? For example, in the case that I'm admitted into two schools :xf:, until when will I have to make a final decision? I'm sure it differs a little by school, but is there any sort of industry standard? In particular, I'd appreciate any information you guys have about Emory.

Also, does anyone know of a less ridiculous way to say "accepting acceptances"?

April 15, usually. There's even some agreement between grad schools floating around somewhere on the interwebs that says they will not force you to make a decision until (e.g. offer deadlines to accept funding earlier than) April 15... not sure if it applies to professional schools or SPHs though.

Edit: here it is
