So, I wrote a school that I'm interested in (Actually the Dean of Students) to see if he was planning on coming to my school in the near future to meet with students that have an interest in his University. He wrote me back and said, yes... I plan on coming in March.

Knowing that would be rather late, he added..


"If you would like to come down here then I would be more than happy to meet with you. Feel free to call...and be put on my calender."

Whatcha think? I think it's a damn good idea to meet with him.

I think it's a good idea as well. I actually have a meeting with the Dean of Admissions to my top school next monday. I think it will be extremely helpful in letting them know how much you want to go there and also get an idea of what you can do to better your application.

Yea, meet with the dean. If they like you, their stamp of approval would carry a lot of weight with an adcom....

Dean of students is not part of admocs at every school........just a thought (I might be wrong thogh... it is as per my hear-say info......so take with a grain of salt)

99% sure he is. and if he isnt man, hes got a lot of pull.

actually he probably runs the entire show by himself. trust me.
