If you're a DO applicant who took step, do you have to meet BOTH requirements? Or is this program essentially not wanting DOs with a cut off that high? Anyone know?

Will they consider DOs with step 1 > 210, but comlex < 640?

I remember applying a program that has a relatively higher COMLEX than USMLE requirement. My step score made the cut but my level didn't. Still got an interview.

I believe COMLEX becomes irrelevant (as long it's a passing score) in the presence of USMLE.

When I see this kind of thing in Frieda, I lol because part of me thinks they don't even know what a comlex score is so they just put a few numbers down. Makes no sense

I think with a Step score above what they want you will likely still be in the running for an interview, but that's just a gut feeling and what I've heard through the grapevine and in no way concrete.

Same experience. If one exam meets the cutoffs, I'd still apply. Worst case scenario its a single lost application fee.

To be honest cutoffs tend to be fluid depending on the application year and program. Some places put the lowest they consider and will never look at anyone under it, but other places put the lowest they've considered in the past or the lowest they'd prefer, but if they still need to interview people they tweek the cutoffs. Its very easy to sort and adjust filters in ERAS.
