Decorum in the forum

We have a few spicy threads here on the politics, the differences in practices, and the like. I wanted to thank everyone on our forums for arguing civilly, comedically, and intelligently in our threads. Right wing/left wing/moderates. All good. Sure we get to name calling and poking at each other, but I am sure if we had a meetup we would all have a great time. I wanted to share this with our group as a moderator because I have been aware of other forums on SDN where the exchanges get overheated and folks get banned. If you feel the need to be a butthead, please take it to the other forums where they have dumpster fire level arguements.

Those links were a lot less juicy than I thought they’d be. It wasn’t that long ago lonelobo would go after anyone who would engage, and it turned into personal threats, doxxing and the like. Several got banned with these interactions. Hawkeye was antiquated in many ways, but IMO he brought far more good to this corner of the virtual world than bad.

um, no. lest you forget, 101N, lonelobo and ssdoc were on at the same time, and there were several threads in which they disagreed with each other...

the one that kept coming on and changing names was stim4u.
