Hey Everyone,
So I'm very interested in DO. My stats are a bit low for MD, and I've come to be interested in the OMM aspect of DO. And I've had a bunch of great encounters with DO's in my area.

But my deep question for you all is - why do you guys want to be doctors so badly?

I am not planning to see my answer in someone else's PS or interview response. Nope.

I want to help ppl.

Because we like hanging around sick people. Next.

Agreed.

OP, you need to find a response that shows your passion towards medicine.

need I say more?

So much paranoia and over thinking. I want to become a doctor because I feel the job description matches my personality and the quality of work I want to perform. I would also like to make a difference in people's lives. How we all got here comes from a plethora of roads, but essentially that's the reason most people do it.

you should know why you wanna be a doctor without having to raise this question to others,, otherwise, why are you even on there or trying ?

The 'surest' way to become a millionaire if you know how to manage your money; hence, that is the reason I wanna become a doctor.

I think it's fair to say that this is the sole reason I'm pursuing podiatry. less shipbuilding. more girls.

Yeah, because physicians spend a lot of time building ships...

Genuinely an interest in helping others and finding the scope of other specialties like psychology to be very limited in scope and require a lot of research ( I've learned I never want to do anything with social psychology research). Overall medicine satisfied my intellectual interests and gave me a stronger arsenal when helping others than other fields.

I've always wanted to be a doctor ever since my mommy told me to when I was 5.

I wanted to be a firefighter.

A number of reasons. The one I'm willing to share here? I've always wanted to deliver babies. Pregnancy fascinates me, and I love babies.

I want to be a doctor because I always wanted to be a doctor and doctors make a lot of money and they have nice watches and they are smart and I am smart so it makes sense.

It's been said before, but the correct answer is money, power, and chicks.

Mine's similar-
Who doesn't want to send a camera up other's butt? I mean, come on people- admit it!

Oh and the money. I'm stoked to prove that mo money doesn't necessitate mo problems in spite of what you may have heard on the radio.

And that summarizes my PS.

So that I can say, "Trust me, I'm a doctor". 😛
