I saw this is the pre-allo forum and thought it would be good to bring over to the pre-osteo one. (Copied and pasted)

So I hear a lot of talk on here about medical schools that require specific kinds of laptops or even one purchased through them, but I've never seen anyone give specific examples. Lets get a sort of list going so everyone will have something to refer to. I know it would be a deciding factor for me because I want a mac because I'm so sick of PCs...

So yeah if you know a school does or doesn't - add it below - along with the type they require if you know...

MSUCOM told me they didn't care, and had a computer lab, but a few students thought there were too few computers

That was from the OP from the pre-allo forum. I merely took his post, I have no problem with PC's

DMU, but they provide their 1st year students with laptops and PDAs and tech support (PDA is upgraded after 2nd year)

If I were to have multiple acceptances, this could be a bit of a deal breaker for me. I won't waste my money on Intel crap. Dorito's makes better chips IMHO.
