Deferral with reapplication?

Hi,

I've been accepted to medical school, but am going to reapply next year, for personal reasons (I need a school with a location that's also convenient for my husband).

I'm a bit nervous about being accepted at other schools, so was thinking about deferring one of the schools where I'd been accepted, while I reapply to other schools. They have a restricted deferral policy, but I've heard that some students are able to hold a deferral at one school, while reapplying to others. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Hey Annarab,

I'm going through the same thing too. I was told as long as you list it on your application, you're okay...but then again, I didn't sign a deferral notice yet.
