Hi everyone,

I apologize if there have been other postings regarding this issue! I was just wondering if anyone knew the deferral policies for dental schools - specifically UNLV, UCSF, UoP, UCLA and USC.

I don't think any dental schools allow you to defer (or transfer for that matter). I could be wrong, but that's generally what I read on the school websites.

are u referring to admissions deferrals?

If so, I heard that dental schools will defer admission given there are extenuating circumstances.

yeah, i didn't think that deferrals (matriculating one year later) were that popular. i was just curious... there is a slight chance i may have to move out of country for my husbands job next year. 🙁

Yes there are deferals. You just have to contact the schools and find out what paperwork you have to fill out.
