I got a letter today that states that I'm deferred, which means that they will continue to consider my application throughout the Admissions Cycle. Does this mean I'm on a waiting list, or probably won't get in?
My stats are:
PCAT 87
GPA 3.4
and I haven't actually held a pharmacy job, but I'm shadowing at one now, and I work in a hospital in the nursing administration office.

Just wanted to say sorry and good luck - I know it sucks. I'm in the same situation with Creighton now too. Hopefully someone here will be able to offer some insight.

Good luck!

I got the same thing for Mercer, and I havent even gotten an interview from South..I heard it was easier to get into than Mercer, but I am not sure. Good luck

Call them and ask why you are waitlisted, as you are entitled to know. Also, look forward to your other schools. Only be bummed if this was REALLY where you wanted to go.

Waitlisted generally means that your name will be put into an alternate list, so you may still receive a call later. However, if you are in the process of securing pre-reqs, take this as a clue that you should secure other school's pre-reqs (for next semester) before you do this school's pre-reqs.

I got a deferral at first, too. I wasn't given the acceptance until May. I'd say, at minimum, 35% of your future classmates got a deferral letter, too. Don't sweat it quite yet.

I thought the opposite. Oh well. Thanks for your encouragement guys. I told myself that I wasn't going to choose which one I liked better until I got accepted, but I was really starting to like the idea of South. Oh well, I guess it'll work out like it's supposed to...
