Deferred enrollment

I've been wondering how many dental students defer enrollment? Is it as common as med school? And how do you know if schools even defer? Anyone have experience with this??

Hey I personally defered enrollment. In the Northeast it is about 50/50. NYU, Boston, UMDNJ do defer. StonyBrook, Tufts do not. I am not sure about Columbia and the others but you could email them and just ask. Or you can call them. That is what I did. I don't think I would use my real name though - you still want them to take you this year so you can defer. But first and foremost just focus on getting in right know. If you have any more Q's ask away.
