Definitive Anking Deck?

I've been testing out Anking but I noticed there are several versions and the card difference is very high (25k-35k depending on version) and the user interface also varies. What is the "best" version I should be using to prepare for STEP exams?

The version on Ankihub which is tagged as V12 will be the most up to date. V11 is over 2 years old and will have a decent amount of out of date information. V12 can sometimes take a little to update things (e.g. took until early this year to get 2022 CDC developmental milestones fully incorporated), but is actually being maintained. If you don't want to pay a continued sub, it's generally worth the $5 for a single month to at least update the deck.

I agree with this. The $5 a month for ankihub is the best bang for the buck you will get out of massive amount of money spent on medical education.

And, if you truly can't afford the $5 per month sub, they just make you watch a video acknowledging you understand their support model, and then you get a "scholarship" for a few months at a time, which covers the cost.

i used v11 and passed usmle first try, if you don't want to pay for it I don't think it'll kill you
