I don't think Ohio State screens for secondaries. I heard everyone got one

Uh, this is a dumb question....but since I'm retaking the mcat, and won't be using my April mcat score, does that mean schools that screen will NOT be sending out secondaries to me until after I send them my score? Or do they just screen based on what they have at hand (my transcript, PS etc)?

When a school says they "screen", how much do they screen. Are there certain cut off points for GPA/MCAT, or do they screen out a certain % of applicants, or what?

i dont think univ of iowa screens. i know the website says they do, but in the letter that came to invite me to fill out a secondary it said it was based on me designating that my AMCAS app be sent to CCOM. it even says that in most cases they havent received a verified app from AMCAS, so i dont know how they could possibly screen. you might wanna take them off the list.

duke doesn't. pretty sure they send it to everyone.

Wayne State University in Michigan also screens...they send out secondaries to 50% of applicants.
