Let's say you got an acceptance into med school, but end up not having time to finish up your degree before going to med school. is that ok?

probably not...i think most acceptances are contingent upon graduation from undergrad. i don't think i've ever heard of a student going to med school w/out a bachelor's degree.

sorry!

but what if you're working on your master's? (not that I'm wishing myself bad luck as I sit here minutes before a final)

i'm pretty sure the same is true for masters programs. they want you to finish what you start (someone please correct me if i'm wrong).

good luck with your final, adcadet!!!!!

It depends on the school you get accepted too. Some schools require a BS/BA, but a good percent require only 90 hours. I would advise contacting the school.

from the acceptance letters i've received and those my friends have received, they all say that acceptance is contingent on the completion of any academic or non-academic pursuits that you were involved in at the time of application. the schools also requested a final transcript after your degree is finished. so i'd wager that they could retract an acceptance if you don't finish your degree.
