Delayed Interviews???

I just received a call from SUNY Upstate informing me that I have been selected for an interview. The next opening isn't until January 7th. Is this typical? (ie, do most people have to wait that long for the interview after the initial offer?) I'm just trying to figure out if all my interviews will be done next semester instead of this one as originally planned.

Upstate is very quick about offering interviews. It was the first place I got an interivew back in early August, and I was scheduled for september. I would think that since they apparently review their applicants very quickly, they fill their interview spots quite quickly. So it doesn't seem unreasonable that at in october, they'd be scheduling interviews for january.

hey, congrats on ur interview, zeke. about the late interview date, i dun think dat's typical at all. i never had to wait more than a month for an interview... and i got my last interview offer last week too. 😎
