To be honest with you I had very similar scores with you on the DAT (same AA and same TS). I think everyone will tell you the same thing, it is definitely a weak point in our application and we just have to hope the rest of our application can make up for it. I do think the sgpa does not help your case either but I want to give you some positive advice/words as well. Apply this cycle, and hope for the best. Students definitely do get accepted with those DAT scores (your list seems to have a lot of schools that wont toss your application out once they see the 18). If you don't get in this cycle, I would aim to really try and do better on the DAT as dental schools definitely prioritize it. (thats my plan as well) One of the dental schools I am applying to regardless basically told me I have no chance with an 18 TS so it definitely will be a dealbreaker for more competitive schools.

I think a helpful resource to check out would be dental school explorer. You can see previous year admissions and many schools will list bottom 5 percentile of accepted students to 95th percentile. You will notice the lowest scores are usually 18-19 TS depending on the school. So basically, an 18 definitely puts you at a disadvantage in that specific category but students definitely still get accepted with those scores.
