I think all other things being equal, I would go for Jeff over Temple. I think it has a better name in a few different competitive fields including ortho, ophtho, and neurosurgery. Plus, if you thrive in the library, and you like its location more, then I think that makes sense. I don't see many compelling reasons to choose Temple over Jeff. The rankings may be an unnecessary stressor, but grades and rankings aren't in the top 3 most important factors for residency selection (board scores, research, LORs). If you end up choosing ortho, I think having a powerhouse ortho program behind you will be worth more than an extra 'H' in family medicine (or whatever) at Temple.

I agree with m1redsox. Unless Temple comes out with a very generous scholarship between now and end of month, I'd totally take Jeff too.
