When you update your letter on AMCAS, it will automatically send an updated one to all schools that have that letter assigned. N=1 I had to do the same thing and now most school portals showed the letter with the new date.

I haven't updated the letter on AMCAS because I've been too scared that it will take me out of the app review line at schools 😭 only sent it to that one so far with a new letter ID

I wouldnt sweat it. Updated it to all using the old letter ID just in case some schools are picky about letter head and signature etc.

Which is worse: having your app pushed back in queue for later review or having your application held as incomplete and never get ANY review from not meeting LOR requirements of signature and date? Submit them IMMEDIATELY!

I already have other letters that do meet the requirements at all schools, though, and most schools have already marked my app as complete
