pls help me ..what is the difference between ocllusal view n occlusal table?

try this question in the dental forum, probably get a better response

You can eat on the occlusal table?????

NO ACTUALLY...
The OCCLUSAL VIEW is the view you get looking at the chewing surface of a tooth. The OCCLUSAL TABLE is the imaginary plane of all the occlusal surfaces conected.

The table is the biting surface... between the cusp tips. I believe it represents 50-60% of the occlusal surface but I can't find my notes on that lecture haha. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

You are correct, the occlusal table refers to the occlusal surfaces of the premolars and molars; the basic collective topography, including the form of the cusps, inclined planes, marginal ridges, and central fossae and grooves of the teeth.
