I am new to this forum. This forum is really great !
I am planning to study for ACFD EE in May 2005
I have dental decks of 1995, NBDE reprints, textbooks.
Is this enough to study for a good score ?
Please let me know.

I am trying to get Canadian immigration
I am still in India
I perhaps get immigration in July/sept. 2005 😡
but going thro. all these threads regarding canadian adv. stand. DDS
its very much discouraging
I dont know that shld I rethink abt my decision regarding immigration ??/! 😕
any one pls guide me

I know that Amol
If u were in GDC before 2002
Then I think u know me
I am the one who has done Marathi Dramas with Dr. Prasad Nayak.(ENDO)
Moruchi Mavashi, Brahmachari,Natha Kamath,etc.
I hope now u will recognise me
may I know ur name pls ?

i only did my internship and my ca ship in gdc mumbai . completed my internship in aug 2002 ... thats why i prob confused you with amol from ODMR ....but ure name sounds familiar too....did you also do your PG there...cant place you .. but i know urename sounds familiar.... were you doing ure PG in 2002 .... which dept....

Hi

I dont want to discourage you to come to Canada but if u can talk to someone u know who is in canada and trying to get into the program.
As far as i know it is almost next to impossible to get into dentistry in Canada but then u have the option of American school. It all seems quite do able thing out in India but when u come here the scenario is totally different.
I which someone had guided me then.

my name was more associated with marathi dramas
I was famous for that

probably we never meet each other
as I finished my internship in Feb.2001
u must have started internship in aug. 2001
there is one more amol
Amol Thorat, PG in Prostho Dept.
Amot Thorat & Amol Dhokar were 1 year senior to me
I never attended any PG course
I am BDS

Even I agree to Bridge,I was doing very very good in North India & was practicing for last 5 years with very good returns.
But I never knew the ground realities in Canada & came here leaving India on point basis immigration.
Now what to do? I know two couples of dentists here in Toronto [one from Gujrat,other Maha.]all four went back to India after two -three years of struggle.

Even those who are coming on marriage basis,it is hard for their inlaws as well as spouses to support them continuously for 2-3 years with so much of uncertainity.
Every month u need atleast 900$ to make both ends meet & u have to do labour jobs only.U WILL NOT GET DENTAL ASSISTANT JOB OR IN LAB.
It is hard. & When u r doing job u can't study 🙁
Good luck to every dentist who is coming to Canada on point basis!

yeah I'm from VSDc b'lore.....1997-2002 batch.....completed my internship in dec 2002..... was better known as "Casper" in college,was in Dr fayaz pasha's batch....who r u???? (is it our pinkoo)
