Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if you know of any banks or anything that will lend a loan for a deposit? Most of my funds went to all of the application fee's and I was under the impression that the deposit wouldn't be $3000...but it is 😱

Any suggestions?

hmm..I'm not sure exactly what a creditline line is...is that just an extension of my loan?

And the school was Boston University...I know I thought it was a lil expensive too NYU is also 1500

UMKC is only $200! Three grand seems a little bit excessive, but the tuition at BU is pretty expensive too.

Did you try exploiting all kinds of relatives yet?

That's what I plan to do if I'm tight on money 😀

I'm not sure if you have many other options if you've tapped out the family option. 3k is pricey. I'm not positive but for our first year of student loans don't we get the full cost of one whole qtr/year loaned to us? In which case as soon as you got your student loan money for the quarter you could pay back whoever loaned you the money and you would only be in debt for 1/2year or so if you decided to go with the credit route. I'd hit up your bank and see what they can do for you. Co sign with your parents/respectable older adult figure in your life and you might be able to get a good rate. Not totally sure though.

hmm this way definitely makes sense...I will probably go this route I don't know if a credit card or with a bank. Probably with a credit card, but just make sure I have a low payment ( I will still be working this summer before we start) ... either way, thanks for the input guys!
