Dental hours verification forms

What schools have such verification forms? Where can I find out? Do the majoirty of schools give you such forms before interviews?

I am esitmating hours right now and will have them up to par with what I am writing right now but I just want to know what kinds of questiosn I'll be asked so that I can be more aware of it as I shadow and let the dentist know too...

also sorry for the bit of overlap with the loma linda thread but I realized no will answer this question there unless they want to read about loma linda so I'm started a new thread

yes this is what i was talkign about. I don't get it! dont' schools want to make sure people don't lie!? do they just not have the time to check on everyone. I am pulling my hair out and getting no sleep to find time for DATs,shadowing, and apps! how can people just not have to do all this and can just lie and still get in! It makes me wanna put in less effort and be a slack a$$ too cuz this is so frustrating😡🙁
I'm getting so tempted to just write 100 hours now but wll be scrwed if my dentist writes he only saw me for 2 days! my concious would eat me up though but i just dont' want to look bad and ask my dentist to say 100 hrs now and let me make them up later but just write that on my apps now. He seems soooo straightedged I don't want him to think of me as immoral or sneaky and asking favors cuz i didn't get my act together earlier and do it before all this like everyone else and then have his letter be of lesser quality...ANY ADVICE?

Frankly, I don't think the number of hours you shadow will make or break you. As long as it isn't something like 10hrs worth of shadowing and you meet the minimum requirements you should be fine.

i've only been for 2 days with the dentist i'm asking a letter from 😱 so it's only a little more than 10

i know this looks SO BAD esp. cuz you all have like years of dental assisting, etc

I know Ohio State does, I guess the best way to find out would be to go to schools individual websites and see.

it's not worth it to lie cuz i'd feel so guilty and the repercussions are so bad...i think i'd rather just risk looking bad to my dentist and just ask he can write a letter and let me say 100 hrs now that we've shceduled and do it after the apps

i dunno what else to do and worrying about it is just delaying my app more :/

do these verification forms verify anything other than dental experience hours? I volunteered at the animal shelter and humane society a little for a few semesters so I was just going to write like 15 or 20 hrs for this? It was a long time ago though so if I have to verify it Idon't know if the shelter keeps track and i didn't have one main contact so i don't know how i could verify it for them if asked

advice please? list doggies or not?
