I am not in dental school nor taking pre-dental classes, though I'm looking into the profession and others. With that said, I do know some schools only use the mouth model simulators for dental school clinics to practice, but what would you say if some schools introduced this neat device? I saw it posted on my homepage, so I decided to share it with the dental forum. I've lurked around before, and decided to join to post on the dental forums. I thought of the forum, so I wanted to share this link. 😛

Alex: "txaggie03."

Me: "What is creepier than working on a cadaver?"

Alex: "Correct."

Me: "Let's stay with 'Things of Children's Nightmares' for $300."

😱😱😱😱😱

How many links to this post are we going to see in the next couple of days. I think the count is up to 3 or 4 already.

cute stuff but i don't see schools adopting these into the curriculum unless these robots are relatively cheap, which I highly doubt.

I was not aware of the 3 or 4. I'm sure the "idea" of it is nice, but I can imagine it'll be expensive. Neat though.

They also get mad at us because we're easier to reach than a faceless insurance company. We make handy targets.

I'm glad to help our patients understand what "coordination of benefits" means, or "missing tooth clause." But like you, I'm disappointed that more people won't take responsibility for becoming informed on what is - after all - a contract between themselves, their employer, and the insurance company.
