Ok, since everyone seems to respond in a similar way when I tell them I'm going to be a dentist, I've decided to create a form for people to fill out rather than waste their effort telling me about why they hate dentists!😀 Here it is:




Please fill out the following form as a response to the statement "I'm going into dentistry".

"Dentistry?! I hate dentists! When I was ____ years old do you know what my dentist did to me?! (dramatic pause)... He/she (please circle one) used their needle/drill/hand (please circle one) and (please select one of the following)

a. poked me so many times in the gums that I still have nightmares
b. drilled before I was frozen and didn't even care
c. froze me so much that I was biting my tongue for two straight weeks
d. told me to suck it up and slapped me

He/she (please circle one) made me cry all the way home... That's why I hate dentists!"

I certify that the words above are an exact representation of my response to the statement, "I'm going into dentistry".

Regardless of your actual feelings towards the subject, just respond that you're planning on becoming an orthodontist.

Nobody hates their orthodontist and they will respond with "Wow I heard they make a lot of money..."
