Hey All, I am going to give y'all a little bit of information about myself. I am looking for some advice. I have 5 dental schools that I am applying to as of now. I am looking to submit my application this SUNDAY (7/16/2017)!!!
The schools that I have chosen to apply to are:
1. University of MN
2. Marquette University
3. University of Iowa
4. University of Missouri Kansas City
5. AT Still University Missouri
I just finished taking my DAT and here is what I got:
PAT: 19
RCT: 21
BIO: 21
GCHEM: 21
OCHEM: 23
Total Science: 22
AA: 21
My current GPA is 3.98, with a science GPA of 4.0
I have around 160 hours shadowing, around 160 hours of volunteer work and some clinical experience (about 20 hours working as a volunteer dental assistant.) My letters of recommendation should be solid as I have a good and close relationship with all of the letter writers. Also 2 years of undergraduate University level research.
Should I apply to a few more schools? Are there any schools in my list that you do or do not like? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated! What would you do if you were in my shoes?
Thanks!!
