dental shadowing requirement

I currently have about 50 hours of shadowing experience. I am planning on shadowing several other dental specialties throughout this summer and I also will be volunteering at missions of mercy clinic in late july. I have a 3.6 overall and science gpa. I got a 22AA and 21PA on the dat. My question is should I wait to turn in my application to include my summer shadowing or should I just turn in the application as soon as possible?

Do the schools that require so many hours of shadowing require it at the time of turning in the application or just by the time you go to school the following year?

Not true. Many schools require 100 and I believe VCU requires 150

I just looked at VCU's website yesterday and the recommended 100-150 hours of shadowing. But I never saw a hard requirement.

Those stats are good. But you should apply now. Your chances of getting in are pretty good. However, anything can happen.. since you started shadowing late in the game. But, I still think you have a pretty good chance of getting accepted.
