Has anyone done this program at Maryland?
Just wondering if it was beneficial in any way?

I myself never took part in it, although I know several people who have. From what I've heard, it is to provide students who may have an interest in dentistry to see what it's all about. It's very hands-on and informative, not to mention the fact that you get to see and talk to some of the people on the admissions committee. All in all, I would recommend it to undergrads who are considering dentistry, but it certainly won't make you outshine someone when it comes to the application process... for that, focus on gpa/dats

So it won't help for them to see a familiar face? I've graduated, and interviewed at MD....so I don't know if I should do this.
