Hi guys!

I would like to know what are you being teached to treat denture stomatitis?

As to what kind of antibiotics to use? (Fluconazole, etc.)

For actual dentist, do you have a lot of cases of denture stomatitis?
Do you see fast progress with the medication?
Also, do you automatically think it's C.Albicans or do you send a sample to a lab?

I'm doing a research to see what are the prefered antibiotics used by professionals and I was curious to see what you are using (Of course what you say will not be in my research)

If you are the dental student, why don't you ask your professors for some feedback? They will be able to help you immensely. Here are some questions to ask:

1. What is denture stomatitis?
2. What is the etiology?
3. What are the contributing factors?
4. What are the appropriate treatment(s)?
5. How can you prevent this in the future?
