For the 2010 - 2011 Cycle, does anyone know when the date is that you must withdraw your acceptances from all but one school?

Thanks!

There is no official date since the schools have no record, unlike allopathics. It is courtesy to do it as early as you decide though.

I thought there was a date in may (15th??) that if you were holding multiple acceptances you had to chose one to matriculate into ? Maybe I am just thinking allopathic though.

Allopathic only. AACOMAS does not keep a record of where you have been accepted and therefor has no way of making sure you have one acceptance held at a certain date. It would be entirely possible for someone to hold 2 acceptances up until the first day of classes if they were that big of an ass that they would deny someone else a spot.

IMO this system is part of the reason for the hefty non-refundable deposits required early by DO schools.

Thanks everyone! Yeah, I'm not going to hoard multiple acceptances, I just want to make sure everything is in order for my top choice before I withdraw my other acceptances.

Good luck everyone!
