Can anyone recommend a good basic dermatology book with good pictures? I am a physiatrist and go to nursing homes. I get asked a lot about rashes and other than hydrocortisone I am really not sure what to do. The primary care physician comes sometimes once a week or once a month. A dermatology appointment can take up to a month. Thanks in advance.

Buy a baby Fitz.... or Habif. Habif comes with a PDA program (at least they did), but you would need to know what you were looking at before it is very useful.

Baby Fitz

if the link does not work, go to amazon and search for Fitzpatricks color synopsis. if you are still in L'ville, call Marty Logsdon -- at least he used to do nursing home consults.
