I was just wondering if it was possible to add medical schools after the my amcas application was initially sent off. I don't think that I can, but just to make sure. Any help would be appreciated.

you can definitely add more schools........good luck!!!

that's great news! are you guys sure about this, though? Have either of you done it? I just want to be 100% sure

I am sure, I did it. added an additional 7 schools.

cool, thanks. AMCAS didn't verify your application again either? sorry, that was the point I was addressing...thanks again.

nope. once you are verified, you are verified for good. that's why you can't change your grades etc... but you can always add schools. i've added more schools two more times since my initial submission...

Ditto!

It works pretty quickly too. Exactly one week after I added some schools to my list, I started getting secondaries from the added on schools. So if you're reconsidering adding some schools, you won't be too far behind in their application cycle even by adding them now.
