Hey guys. I am currently working at Mercer Health and Benefits consulting the Top 8 best consulting firms to work for world wide and have done research for ayear in college on MLh1 gene. So my adsas sci gpa is 3.54(majored: Molecular Biology adn Biochem) while my total gpa is 3.5 on adsas. my Dat was 19/19/20 with a break out of

So i applied to UMDNJ mine went in pretty early i finsihed adsas june 16 and my stuff was sent out july 16 and was confirmed by umdnj that they recieved it. My friend has alittel lower stats then me and applied to umdnj (reapplicant) he already has an interview. Now my worry is if i applied the same time and as of now i still dont' have an interview does that mean i was REJECTED already? Please give some advice on what you guys think my current situation is. Thanks

Sometimes you wont exactly know what adcoms are looking for. Maybe your friend has a very impressive personal statement that caught the adcoms' attention; or maybe there are just something interesting about his application. Dont stress just because you are not granted an interview yet, its actually still quite early in the cycle in terms of extending interviews.

you are not rejected until the school sends you a rejection letter. however, that 16 on bio might be a red flag to the admissions people especially considering the fact that you were a molecular/biochem major.
