Hi guys,

I'm having trouble with the half holes on the hole punching section and problems with top front end section too. And I'm totally freaking out about the math section too. I feel I'm just really bad at math right now, like I can't even do the simple math in my head without the calculator. How should I study for the math?

You can use these resources to study for math:

Chad's videos for a quick review
Destroyers/Bootcamp for practice

and my favorite and comprehensive one: Sullivan algebra and trigonometry book. It covers pretty much all of the topics that you need to know: "Algebra (equations and expressions, inequalities, exponential notation, absolute value, ratios and proportions, and graphical analysis); Numeric calculations (fractions and decimals, percentages, approximations, and scientific notation); Conversions (temperature, time, weight, and distance); Probability and Statistics; Geometry; and Trigonometry."

Do Chad first, then figure out where you are at by taking Destroyers/Bootcamp. If you score average or below or you feel like you don't have a good grasp at the concepts then I highly suggest Sullivan though it will take a while to self study a half of a whole ...book

For PAT, do you have any troubles with full holes or fake holes? If you don't, half holes aren't so difficult. What makes it difficult for you to do half holes? Lines of symmetry can probably help you out if you haven't tried it yet. As always you can post a few half holes problem and we can help you out. Best case scenario, buy a bunch of square papers and a hole puncher to help you visualize!

TBH, mathe and PAT are the two sections that need a lot of practice to master. For PAT, start with DATBC generators then move onto the practice test. For each question, make sure you understand how to get to the correct answer. I believe after you finish all 10 practice test on datbc, you will start to see your own way of approaching each questions.
For math, use math destroyers, those questions are doable and sometimes challenging, but that is how to learn. Start now, and try to finish the destroyers twice before your real test. One must do thing is to know all basic equations/formulas.
PM me if you need more advice. Hope I can help.

Magoosh's GRE prep math resources were pretty outstanding in teaching you math concepts you may have forgotten or never learned. It does take time (and more $) so I'd only turn there if you feel its necessary after doing more practice problems (Destroyer + BC) and watching chads etc.
