it says atp production does not need light!

but in light dependent reaction atp is produced...so how does it not need light?

in cellular respiration, it doesn't.

in plants i'm pretty sure it does...b/c technically, the calvin cycle depends on the ATP and NADPH from the light dependent reactions

so while it doesn't require light per se, it requires the products from the light reactions.
