what sinlgle discount is equivalent to three sucessive discounts of 10%, 15% and 3%?

answer : (.9x)(.85)(.97)=.74205
100-74.205=25.795

is there another way of doing this problem without having to multiply so many #s, and the answers are soooo close to each other that's impossible to just round it up.

Thanks

I dont know if this work but I rather take 100 is the original number.
10% of 100 = 10
15% of 90 (100-10)= 13.5
3% of 76.5 (90-13.5) = 2.something

plus all of them together 25.5....then this is the percent discount of 100.
