when this board was down?

It's a good thing it was during Thanksgiving break and I was really busy.

I only checked on the site 31 times so I was doing ok. 😉 I can't imagine how I would have handled it while I was still at school. 👎

I do not post often, but I have been reading SDN on and off for about two years. I usually check the boards every night just before I go to bed. It is more or less a nightly ritual for me. My wife has become very concerned about my SDN addiction since she found me curled up in a fetal position on my office floor last night with my browser showing a "can not find server" message on it.

The day before thanksgiving I got an interview at my number one choice. I ran out into the hall of my dorm... and everyone had left. My cell phone battery had died so I couldnt call my parents AND (horror upon horrors!) SDN WAS DOWN.

-> insert dramatically, "NOOOOOOOOO!"

So I had to do my happy dance all alone. (which in retrospect was probably a good thing... Im not the best dancer.)

I literally fell into a rage. It was so frustrating. I work long hours and I've become totally dependant on SDN for unwinding after the day is out. Yesterday I saw the message that it would be up this afternoon. Tonight I drove home from work at about 9 pm and my MOM was playing free cell on the computer! Finally, after two hours of not-so-patient waiting, I couldn't stand it any longer and asked her if I could get on the computer. I tell you, not having SDN during Thanksgiving was bad, but those last two hours were the worst.
I can't believe I'm an addict. Never thought it would happen to me.

who then banned me with a 4-0 vote from the dinner table on thanksgiving
