Did anyone see a % jump right away when switching from timed to tutor?

That's in UW, but people with Kaplan can chime in also.
I went through about 40-45% of UW in timed mode and I
was consistently finishing with 15 mins left in each section.
Then I switched to tutor mode (still unused, random), and saw a
5-10% increase. I don't know if its because I was just rushing through
the questions in timed mode and I am actually using process of
elimination in tutor mode (which seems to help with UW a lot once
you have a basic knowledge). I want to see if its just a mental thing
or have others also noticed an increase.

No. It IS a mental thing.

this test is one big mind game.

for instance, when i get the first question wrong on a block of 48 unused, my overall average is 12% higher than if i had gotten that first question correct.

when i break 77% on blocks of 48 unused, the majority of my errors are in the first 24 questions. when i'm <77%, my errors are concentrated in the latter half of the block.

i went through my old tests in uworld, rx, and qbank and this held true for the vast majority of them.

there isn't really a discrepancy between timed and tutor mode, however.

I've actually noticed that I do significantly BETTER in timed vs tutor. Maybe because I just go with my gut and move on rather than waffling between answer choices.

This might be a stupid question since I'm halfway through the question bank already, but what does Tutor Mode even mean? I'm not finishing exceedingly early (usually 10-12 minutes usually), but if tutor mode seems to help in that circumstance I'd love to try it out...
