Did anyone spend time on that wake secondary?

I didn't realize that the pre-secondary screening was as "real" as apparently it was. I put maybe 3 or 4 sentences for each of their prompts when I got the secondary. What did you guys put?

Oh, man. I wrote stuff Goethe would be jealous of.

Just kidding. Relax. My philosophy: Numbers >> Primary > Secondary

I actually put down thoughtful answers. Why not? But who knows if they really read them?

I figure they don't ask questions unless they want answers, so I put a lot of time into copying and pasting appropriate sections from my essays for other apps. No character limit, woo hoo!

If you really want to go to WF, though, I would recommend contacting them with a story about how you accidentally submitted an incomplete application. It's easy to do that with 3 different Explorer windows open at 2 am (oops, there went my Temple app with no essay! They were nice about it; I guess I wasn't the only one).

My answers were brief, but I would like to think that they were thoughtful. I just didn't put a lot of time into writing something long because the boxes were so small (even though there were no character limits). I am assuming that those were short answer questions.

I just put down some average length cut-and-paste-from-other-essay responses. No need to go over board. Remember, someone has to read thousands of these things. Being concise is the key to a happy adcom member.
