Prepare for everyone here to lecture you on your grammar usage in the title and say that if you can't write English properly, you really shouldn't be a doc

Hm. I didn't know SDN was a place to make people feel like ****. Well anyway, you shouldn't be a doc if thats what you're good at.

The reality is that most pre-meds don't make it. As a newly minted freshman, the best you can do is give it your all and pray for the best.

Nothing in life is a guarantee, and no, failing your first exam is obviously not good. Don't over analyze or trivialize events such as these. Use them as opportunities to master the content and hopefully improve.

What? I was making a joke about the dumb comments people usually make on here.

Anyway, it will be ok. We've all failed tests before. Just figure out what you did wrong and try to fix it in the future. I always seem to screw up my first test in a class and then figure out how to study for that specific class and end up doing well on everything else. In a year from now, you probably won't even remember this

wow dude no need to be so cryptic 🙄

Oh hey man by the way, go **** your self. I don't come here to feel like more **** than I'm already feeling. I looked at your recent postings, you sound like an dingus. A major dingus.

Hey bruh @Pusheen didn't mean any harm, chillax.

He was providing a satirical sketch of contemporary SDN culture.

well my joke didn't just fall flat, it was absolutely crushed into oblivion 🤣

Your pre-med career is not over after 1 test, but you shouldn't rely on SDN as your support system. Come here to ask advice with thick skin, not after you're reeling or this will happen.

No one even said anything mean to him!

Do better on the next one.

That is all there is to it. I failed my first med school anatomy lab practical. Walked out feeling like I had done pretty well, got the score back... 64%. You dust off, look to see what you could have done better, be really honest with yourself about how much you studied and how much you ... you know, had a book open sometimes while hanging out with friends or watching a game or something. Figure out where you went wrong and do it better.

Today's practical? I felt really good about. We will see. One thing is for sure... I put a lot more effort into preparing for this one, after that first stumble.

So true. I wish I had statistics of how many people in their freshman year say "I wanna go to med school!" vs how many actually apply vs how many actually get accepted.

I'll study more efficiently, and more properly now. Now I know the tests are.. But

But there are some people, who are actually motivated. I'll study in my country if it doesn't work out here.

Exactly. I know the style of questions the professor provides on the exam. I think I'll do much better next exam.

Pre meds ... aka super sensitive, defensive, and over reactive type A people.

Nah just this guy. The ones who make it are mostly the more mature and well-adjusted ones. Mostly.

I'm gonna go for a reach and make a general statement - but I'm guessing first years usually freak out during the first exam of med school too... 80% of med students are definitely type A...
