Today is my first day studying for DAT, and I downloaded DAT Achiever.

It seems to be nothing but practice tests. Is that the case?

So how does this work exactly then... I am responsible to reviewing all material covered in DAT from books and the softwares like Topscore, DAT Acheiver and DAT Destroyer are ONLY practice tests?

Those are just practice tests, but you can actually review the material by going through Kaplan blue book, Schaum's outlines, or even your old texts

Yeah, they're just test... but great study tools..... after the material has been reviewed. Sometimes it's a good way to start though b/c it lets you know exactly what you need to concentrate on. Look on the brightside, at least you figured it out now! Plus some things like the PAT you can only get better at by practice. Good luck!

i took the kaplan online course, used textbooks to review as well and just downloaded DAT Achiever to use right before taking the DAT this coming monday.

it is good to get used to the computer formatting and to get comfortable with the timing.

I would just use achiever for timing and as a finale to wrapping up studying. dont let the scores get to you though. for most people they are pretty low, including me. use it to find your weaknesses.
